Fridays in September

Applemania is a fundraiser supporting our fifth graders. We will be selling paper apples in the front of the school every Friday morning in September. Students will write their name on their purchased apple, and place it on their classroom door to show off their school support. 

Each apple will cost $1, and 100% of proceeds will go to fifth grade field trip costs. At the end of the month, the grade level with the most apples will receive a popcorn/movie party in the school cafeteria.

We will announce weekly grade level totals on the morning announcements to drum up a bit of friendly competition.

DeKalb County School District presents the National Hispanic Heritage Month Fiesta in collaboration with the Latin American Association. Join us for food, entertainment, and fun activities for the whole family!

Want to represent your favorite sports team with us on Fridays? Come dressed in your team's colors, jersey, hat, scarf, or any other clothing item or accessory you have. With the special privilege of being able to wear fun accessories (like hats and scarves!) please be prepared to donate a $1 on your way into school. This money will go directly to support our 5th graders!
