The PTA Volunteer of the Year award goes to someone who has worked throughout the entire year within the PTA to build up the community at Evansdale. They work with parents, teachers, staff, and students alike to create positive culture and community within our school.
This year’s honoree has done all of that and more!
She has worked tirelessly, and she has put a ton of love and thoughtfulness into her efforts for this school and staff.
We don’t know how she has managed to juggle her family life with all of the time she has put in here, except that we know she recruited her family to be her event team on a regular basis!
She is detail-oriented, organized, and creative. Countless times we would see her unloading her car in the circle with every type of supply needed for the day. Her wagon piled high to the sky….
Teachers regularly sent thank you notes to the PTA for all of the wonderful lunches, goodies, treats, you name it- but really, these notes should have all been sent to her.
She was the muscle behind every teacher appreciation event we did this year…..
