Eagles United Soccer Tournament - This Friday

Are you ready to play?! Eagles United Tournament registration closes THIS FRIDAY, August 30th so turn in your blue form or register ($5/child) here. All abilities welcome! Games are played on the lower field at school.

What to bring/wear: Comfortable/athletic clothes, tennis shoes and water bottle. Optional: soccer ball, shin guards, cleats.

Schedule*:

4:30-5:00pm PreK / Kindergarten Free Clinic
5:00-5:30pm 1st grade
5:40-6:10pm 2nd grade
6:20-6:50pm 3rd grade
7:00-7:30pm 4th grade
7:40-8:10pm 5th grade

*Please arrive at least 20 minutes before your scheduled games begin.

Free Raffle Ticket!

Want an extra raffle ticket for free?! Sign up for at least 2 slots on our Volunteer Sign up for the Year and get an extra ticket. All the PTA events and activities for the year are included so consult your calendar and sign up! Once you sign up, the chair will be in touch. We encourage every family to volunteer 1-2 times a semester.

No time during the school day? We have some needs that may be a perfect fit for you! We are looking for:

Spirit Night coordinator - Talk to area restaurants to find our next Spirit Night locations
Cultural Arts coordinator - Identify performing arts groups to perform at monthly in-school assemblies and coordinate with school leadership to schedule
Website management - Help keep our website up-to-date throughout the year

Save the Date: Book Fair!

September 9-13th

Vote on PTA Dissolution

Calling all PTA members! Our PTA will vote to dissolve and unify with the Foundation on Friday, September 27th @ 5:45pm in the school cafeteria. If you are a member, please make a plan to be there for this important vote. Need more info? Watch the video explaining this change here.

PAC Applications Due

The candidate declaration window for the Principal Advisory Council (PAC) will be open through Friday, September 6, 2024. Complete the form below to run for an elected parent/guardian position on our school’s Council. If you are a current PAC member whose term ends September 30, 2025, you do not need to reapply this election cycle. Parent/Guardian Candidate Declaration Form (English/Spanish). Principal Advisory Councils bring parents, school employees, students, and community members together to create a better understanding of and mutual respect for each other's perspectives and share ideas for increasing student achievement and performance.

Save the Date - Lakeside Foundation Viking 5K

Save the date, Saturday January 25, 2025, for the annual Viking 5K! All are invited to participate in support of the Lakeside Foundation, which provides scholarships, facility improvements, classroom grants, professional development and more to enhance the Lakeside community.
